Top Super Bowl Promotions For Tennessee Sports Bettors

A significant portion of Tennessee residents hoped their beloved Tennessee Titans would be in this year’s Super Bowl. Alas, the Cincinnati Bengals took down the AFC’s top seed in the playoffs and worked their way to Sunday’s season finale.

While the Titans aren’t in the Super Bowl, that doesn’t mean Tennesseans can’t enjoy the big game, especially from a betting perspective. As national sportsbook operators attempt to acquire customers during the Bengals’ marquee matchup with the Los Angeles Rams, they offer enticing promotions, bonuses, props and more.

Even for existing customers, the Super Bowl can be an enjoyable game for recreational bettors. Here’s a quick overview of some of the notable promotions and bets offered by major sportsbooks that are operational in Tennessee. Several sportsbook operators have promotions focused on the number 56, as it’s the 56th Super Bowl.

Notable promotions from major operators

At BetMGM, new users can bet $10 on the Super Bowl and win $200 if a touchdown is scored during the game. BetMGM also offers new users a “risk-free” bet up to $1,000.

Like other national operators, BetMGM also offers a wide assortment of prop bets for the game. Want to bet something other than the spread, moneyline, or total? You can bet on almost anything, including the result of the coin toss.

I like taking Matthew Stafford to throw between 35 and 39 passes at +250 odds. Stafford has thrown for 35-39 passes in seven of the team’s 20 games this year, and his prop for total pass attempts sits around 36 passes at most sportsbooks.

New users also can get considerable benefit from signing up at Caesars, as a deposit of between $50 and $1,500 will be matched by the sportsbook. Caesars also offers a same-game parlay bonus that gives users a $56 free bet if they hit a $10 parlay with +1000 odds or longer (or $560 on a similar $100 parlay try). Those parlays are unlikely to win, but the high number of people who bet parlays during the Super Bowl might as well opt in for that potential bonus.

WynnBET offers new users $200 in free bets if they make a $10 bet at odds of -120 or longer. Users can place their initial wager on the spread of the Super Bowl matchup, which has the Rams as 4-point favorites, and then receive $200 worth of free bets to use in the near future.

TwinSpires gives new users a risk-free first bet of up to $1,000. If your bet loses, you’ll receive the same value as credit to use in a subsequent free bet.

DraftKings and FanDuel tout 56/1 offers

DraftKings is offering 56/1 odds on the Super Bowl for new users who bet $5 on either team to win the game. If your bet hits, you’ll receive $280 worth of free bets.

One of DraftKings’ biggest Super Bowl promotions is the handful of $1 million free bets being awarded on Super Bowl Sunday. New and existing users can opt in to the promotion before 1 p.m. CT on Sunday for a chance to be one of five lucky winners nationally. If chosen — the five winners will be announced at 6 p.m. CT — the user will receive a $1 million free bet. While it’s highly unlikely you’ll be one of five winners, it’s worth opting in for the slim chance. Up to 10,000 other users will receive a smaller free bet from the promotion.

In addition to a Super Bowl bingo game, FanDuel will offer 56/1 odds on the Super Bowl for new users. Unlike DraftKings, however, FanDuel will give winning bettors $280 in money. DraftKings gives winners $280 worth of free bets, while FanDuel users will receive $280 in funds to their account, which can actually be withdrawn.

Super Bowl betting advice

If you’re a new user in Tennessee, there’s money to be made by signing up for various sportsbooks and cashing in on the promotional offers. If you’re an existing user, it’s worth checking out the various Super Bowl promotions and boosts.

It’s also worth doing basic line shopping on spreads and props, if you’re going to bet on the game. For example, if you want to back the Bengals, look at BetMGM, which has them as 4.5-point underdogs. If you want to take the Rams, Caesars is a good place to look, as the Rams are 3.5-point favorites at that book.

Want to take Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp to score a touchdown? BetMGM has Kupp’s odds at -165, compared to -200 at WynnBET. If there’s ever a weekend to download multiple sports betting apps to take advantage of promotions and line shopping, it’s this one.
