With sports betting soon to be legal in Tennessee, BetMGM has positioned itself to hit the ground running there after signing a deal Monday to become the official sports betting partner of the Tennessee Titans.
Sports betting will start in the Volunteer State no later than Nov. 1, though the actual start date is expected to be sooner. BetMGM was one of three operators to be given conditional licenses to commence sports wagering Thursday by the Tennessee Education Lottery Commission along with FanDuel and DraftKings.
It is the first partnership deal between a professional sports team and a sports betting platform in the state of Tennessee, which will be a mobile-only state for sports wagering. BetMGM already offers online sports betting in seven states and previously inked deals with three other NFL teams — the Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, and Las Vegas Raiders.
“The Titans are an incredible organization and we’re proud to have BetMGM as the team’s first official sports betting partner,” BetMGM’s Chief Marketing Officer Matt Prevost said in a joint statement. “This is truly a partnership between two great brands and we’re excited to introduce Titans fans to new ways to engage with their favorite football team.”

BetMGM will receive brand visibility across the Titans’ digital assets, most notably during key in-game moments including field goal attempts and video game replays at Nissan Field. BetMGM also becomes the exclusive naming rights partner of the Titans’ television studio at Saint Thomas Sports Park — home of Titans All Access, the Coach Mike Vrabel Show and additional content available to viewers in Tennessee.
BetMGM will also be the co-sponsor of a soon-to-be announced raffle that benefits The Titans Foundation, which directs funds to community organizations throughout the state.
“We are thrilled to bring BetMGM to the state of Tennessee,” said Titans Sr. Vice President, Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer Gil Beverly. “BetMGM will deliver new experiences and levels of engagement to our fans and we’re excited to welcome them in as an official partner.”
The Titans, who have won their first three games by a combined six points, host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday in a showdown of 3-0 teams.
